A Brew Passport is a fun, self-guided way for beer lovers to explore breweries and earn perks along the way.

Just like a travel passport, each brewery is a “stop.” When you visit a participating taproom, you receive a beer-related reward—most often a BOGO or discounted beer. You redeem the perk by scanning a QR code at the brewery, and the visit is marked as completed in the app so it can only be redeemed once.

In states where beer discounts aren’t allowed, breweries can offer an alternative reward such as free or discounted food or another taproom perk.

The Brew Passport is designed to encourage people to discover new breweries, support local taprooms, and turn beer travel into a rewarding experience.

US Brew Passport is a nationwide app that encourages craft beer lovers to visit breweries, explore new places, and earn rewards.

Here’s how customers use the app:

  • They open the US Brew Passport app and browse breweries near them.
  • Each brewery can offer a special reward (BOGO, % off, or whatever you specify — based on local laws).
  • When a customer visits your taproom, they tap “Redeem Offer.”
  • Their phone scanner opens and they scan the qr code at your brewery.
  • The user is prompted to show the redemption screen to the staff and confirm redemption.
  • Your brewery is then marked as “Redeemed” with date and timestamp.
  • This prevents the reward from being used again by that user.
